MEET COURTNEY WOLFSBERGER PARMENTER

It is quite daunting trying to think about how I would describe myself. Let me try…

I am a gal from the midwest that was raised by my traditional, conservative parents with two amazing older brothers.

Believe it not; I never was rebellious until about six years ago when I figured out I was the “boss of me”.

However, I’ve only just started understanding that about three years ago once the residuals of my 20-year marriage ended.

My parents taught us that children were to be seen and not heard, pretty is as pretty does, and being polite was more important than being right.

Lying about going to a PG movie instead of the Exorcist, driving my mom’s car to pick up all my friends when my parents were out of town, and sneaking out of the house both at age 15 were my most rebellious jaunts, until recently. I snuck out to my neighbor’s house because of course, I had the earliest curfew. Gasp! I got caught every time which really squashed all the fun except for the car outing when I came clean much later.

Anywho, I have a lot on my mind. I have a lot I want to share. I believe in a higher power. I trust in the Lord, and I am taking this journey with Him.

I have been through many trying times, but I never stopped wanting to live my most genuine, my most rewarding life. It has been the setbacks that have jettisoned me towards the better parts of my life that are now.

Growing up, it was all about appearances. Fast forward to today, and I finally realize that feeling beautiful starts from the inside…then out. It’s a gravitational pull only explained by allowing the happiness and the goodness to live within your heart, then the rest comes naturally.

You need to listen to your inner voice. It is a forever journey. I hope I can somehow translate the things that have become “my best-kept secrets” through this blog along with my passion for having a happy home surrounded by ideas and tips on making your insides and life the best it can be.

By the way, this blog is for all ages. It is all about using what you already have right now and giving it a new life by being more clever and wise.
